Nice inverter

This is a nice inverter. Starts refrigerator which is why I bought it. Display of power is handy and gives good indication how close to max its running. Power cables decent length and gauge for the job. Has not failed after a year use. Would but again and I plan to recommend it for back up sump pump use to friend.

I purchased this inverter to power my pellet stove during power outages. It blew the fuse in my pellet stove the first time I tried running it, and luckily did not fry the control panel as I have been told it could have. I have run this stove many, many times over the years off my 4000 watt Generac generator with no problem! I would recommend this inverter for many demanding uses except anything that is "power sensitive'. Save your electronics and get a Pure sine wave inverter. This is a very nice, heavy duty inverter for many uses. I tried my large Ridgid shop vac and it handled it with no problem. It handled a Sawzall and large power drill with ease. The power meter is handy, it shows with 10 leds power consumption from 10% to !00% of capacity (100-1000watts). The cables that come with this thing are worth at least $30 or more, they are 3' long and rugged. The carry handle is tough, and handy as this thing is not light. If you need a rugged inverter that is portable, durable, and reliable to run tools, lighting, etc, you won't find a better deal than this unit. I gave it 5 stars because it's not the inverters fault I can't use it. It just doesn't have "clean" enough power for my needs even though it states it can be used for electronics.

I bought this inverter as a backup, in case I have problems with my generator..+I could use it to power electric heaters or even a freezer/refrigerator. Its just the right size.
