Go Power! 30 Amp Transfer Switch is used to hardwire inverters into a system where there is an alternative source of AC. This transfer switch is made to only allow one source of AC power to pass through it to the loads and can handle 30 Amps of service. This ensures that the inverter will not be damaged if the generator or utility power is hooked up while the inverter is running as well as well as contains all instructions.

Works great 3 years later

I purchased the Power 30 Amp Automatic Transfer Switch nearly three years ago.I installed the switch to provided uninterupted service between my Honda 3000 EU and my Magnum 2800 watt inverter.The switch has worked flawlessly for nearly three years, providing uninterupted power when the generator shuts down. I have observed no chatter or RF problems with this switch, and it works fine in any position. The only complaint I have is that the case is a bit weak, however it is rated for indoor use only so this was not a problem during installation. If you are looking for a 30 amp transfer switch that holds up well to time and nameplate ratings at a reasonable cost, consider this switch.P.S. I don't have information on the contact reps before failure but I installed one of these in a friends house to switch his Trace 2000 inverter over 10 years ago and he tells me that it still works fine. (So does the inverter)

Very excellent product for its cost. Very easy to install and configure. Works perfectly. Put two in the travel trailer so it switches between invertor, shore power and generator.

I needed a simple cost effective and safe way to transfer automatically between my PV battery based system and my utility supply. At pre-set battery levels my inverter will shut down and this Go-Power TS-30 amp switch will automatically transfer my sub panel loads to the utility supply, until my battery levels come up the next day from the PV panels charging the system.Transfer speed is fast in switching from utility power to PV system power with all connected devices holding up during transfer. However in switching from PV system to utility power there is a transfer lag and some sensitive devices like cable boxes will drop out (a small UPS solved this problem).A solidly build device that does the job it was designed for, ensure you use the correctly size transfer switch either the TS 30 amp or TS-50 amp. to handle your load requirements.
