I bought this item from a local parts store. I needed it to run a few small things on a dry camping trip, the draw was this game with both a car adapter as well as a direct battery adapter. So far all is well, To get the battery cable to attach you need to separate the wires a bit (at least on the larger marine battery i was using) to get a nice connection. This action opened up the positive side of the cable exposing the wires. This could have just been my cable i may try to get a replacement, however I was already in the woods, so i taped it closed and hoped for the best. When i first plugged it in the fan turned on, after a few moments it went back off. for the rest of the night i did not hear it turn back on. (it was outside undercover and fairly cool outside) Over all i am still going to use it as i have it its a nice size, has a built in USB port, and it works. The only downside is i may have to make my own slightly better connection cables to the battery. Other than that it did and does work well for what it needed to do.
