This device properly delivers 12V DC power to my DC device. It would be nice if there was a 5V setting- there are 4.5V and 6V settings, but no 5V. Why is that? I've found that most of these DC adapters don't have 5V settings, yet most of the USB DC/cigarette adapters are 5V. What's up with that? Seriously, if you know, please leave a comment!

Parts Express 12V 2A DC To DC Converter is a hard item to find ,but now that I've found it, I can use it for all my needs in my car.This item was recently received by me for a very reasonable price. I have not had a chance to fully try it out but, what little usageI've done so far was very good. It ran all the items that I tried with ease.I so far have no complaints and love this item.I've beenlooking for one of these for along time and now I can run items that I had sitting around due to bad connections with the original items.The Parts Express 12V 2A DC To DC Converter saved me from having to throw these items away because of bad connections or connectors.The Parts Express 12V 2A DC To DC Converter has replaced the original parts without problems and this makes me happy because I don'thave to pay a lot for an item replacement now. The cheapest place that I found this item was on Amazon and that makes me happy too.I know Amazon will back this product during my trial period for st least 30 days if it doesn't work out the way I think it should but,so far I am very happy with this product and Amazon.If you need this type of item it won't hurt to try it and see if you like it.It's awin win because you have a 30 day trial and a product to use at a very reasonable cost and it appears to be very well made so far.Try, you'lllike it.
