I purchased a power bright ML-3500 inverter a while ago. At first it worked great but suddenly began to produce 150 volts AC (with no apparent reason) and burned out everything that was attached to it. I contacted Power Bright Support and they told me to throw the unit away since it was clearly broken. (Some Tech Support huh?).I had the power source checked and it was perfect, so I purchased a new Power Bright Inverter, this time the ML-900 (the 3500 was a little over-kill for my application and I did not want to invest that kind of money again). I installed the ML-900 and immediately checked the AC voltage (don't want to get burned twice). It was 96 volts AC.Contacted Power Bright Tech Support and they first told me my meter was faulty. I explained that I have 3 other inverters and when hooked up to the same power source the meter reads their output properly (110-120 volts depending on the unit). So Power Bright Tech Support next told me to check the fuses in the NEW unit. Of course this was just a distraction tactic...the fuses were fine.Bottom line is the ML-900 is going back and I will NEVER buy a Power Bright Product again.Clearly they are having issues with their equipment - output voltage problems. And they do not stand by their product (just throw it out a $300 unit if it does not work and buy a new one). Beyond that their Tech Support is the worst I have ever experienced.To sum it up: DON'T BUY POWER BRIGHT PRODUCTS.As an alternative, I have had very good experience with AIM power inverters and, when one did break down, they replaced it (somewhat reluctantly but they did replace it).The reason I gravitated to Power Bright was because the advertised No Load Current Draw was much lower then all the other brands...however.. after the experience I had I would venture a guess that this was false or inaccurate information as well.

We're using this inverter in buses to provide a/c power to passengers for their cell phones and lap tops. It handles to load with no problems. It's a reasonably priced unit that works perfectly. We will be buying more as we have opportunity to equip more buses.

Standby power use is 1-2 watts and the fan does not even run until the case gets hot saving power and making no noise until it does come on. Mine is working on a lithium battery of 9 cells at up to 32 volts without tripping the over voltage alarm. Excellent unit highly recommend it, will start and run my 34 inch high old fridge unless the compressor stalls and even that will dim my office lights when on the grid.Presales support via email was excellent also.J Newport RI
