I'm using this for an 11 inch monitor that needed 12V. It works very well. Only thing I wish was different, was a longer cord. I need to use an extension cord to reach the 120V socket 10 feet away. Comes in a sturdy box (well protected for shipment).

Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R12U19IACH4PBM it includes a female plug for soldering if your into that stuff. It includes the ac to adapter plug and its rather compact. Couldn't ask for more.UPDATE: My first one died after a year of continuous use on a refrigerator.

I just received the adapter,I had to return it because of it was missing an accessory (Power pigtial)But i will re order it when i get a chance!
