I have just recently purchased this 300 watt power inverter, and it would be a great invention especially for the price... if it worked. I first tried plugging in my phone usb charger into the usb slot, and it did not work at all, Im not sure if you just cannot charge a usb alone but this was pretty upsetting. The main reason i bought this was to charge my macbook, and although the light green light comes on and my car is running, my mac told me it was "not charging". I have tried both the usb by itself and the mac in 2 cars expecting it to work in at least one but it was a no deal. It could be that you may need higher watts but I would definitely not buy this product.

Says it's 300 watt. But it's really 150 watt with 300 watt short time peak. The description in incorrect. Not as advertised.

The one I received, I didnt even get a single use, and infact it blew two fuses in my Honda Hybrid. Had it been damaged, Amazon would more held responsible for any damage incurred due to defective product. Promptly returned it.
