We purchased two of the earlier version of this Sima Stp-3000t-rb 3000-watt Power Inverter (the Sima 75-32630 3000T Watt Titanium Plus Series Power Inverter) about a year ago and have nothing but good to say about them. They are being used almost daily in two HD Bucket trucks to mount cross tees, guy wires and other attachments on power poles out in the Oklahoma Oil fields. It's a rough and dirty environment in all types of weather and everything takes a beating but they are holding up very well (no problems to date). They have the capacity to run two HD Dewalt tools (a 7.5 amp 1/2" Impact Tool and a similar HD 1/2" Drill) at the same time. We are so satisfied with them we are getting ready to purchase two more of this newer model for use on other trucks and plan on purchasing a third one to install in our 5th wheel Travel Trailer so we can run our microwave oven for short periods when 110 volt service is not available. Keep in mind inverters of this size/capacity require a lot of battery power. All of our trucks have heavy duty hi amperage alternators and multiple batteries. You almost have to have a two battery system if you use this inverter at a high capacity for very long. Oh, the price though Amazon is excellent.

We purchased this inverter the first one blew up immediately. We returned it to the manufacturer and got a replacement that also did not work straight from Sima. Do not recommend it.
