From personal experience, if you get anything over 60 watts, now-a-days, they will have a noisy fan. I use several of these inverters and found that they produce the cleanest power for a modified sine wave inverter that I have found! I can have them turned on near a marine radio and the transmit signal has no unwanted hum that I have found other inverters pollute.
