I had the same model before, for about two years and it worked fine. When it finally died, I wound up buying a comparable Cobra, which made entirely too much noise. So I purchased the "trusty Sima" and it actually fell apart after a week.Amazon, however, backed it up wonderfully. I kinda wish Amazon told me why it fell apart.

Worst power inverter ever - bad modified sigh wave - will buzz and fry lights when it actually puts power out at all - will run about 70Volts if that ---The cheep inverters from Harbor Freight are Much better ---

I don't plan to ever use all 425 watts, but this unit cost less than many others with lower power ratings.
