The LiteFuze LR series 3000 watt Step Up/Step Down heavy duty voltage regulator with transformer is simple plug and play with auto input voltage detection. You do not need to worry about setting the input voltage with a manual switch, just connect it to any AC voltage outlet and its ready to go. It is also equipped with circuit breaker protection so you'll never need to replace fuses on overload. The voltage regulator function stabilizes the input voltage (90V-260V) and outputs both 110V & 220V from their corresponding outlets simultaneously. It also features the convertingbox technology which ensures lighter weight. The LR-3000 is compatible to operate on 50 hz or 60 hz. It is designed to convert single phase 110-120V to 220-240V or 220-240V to 110-120V. This CE certified transformer is safer with advanced side vents for ventilation. The efficiency factor of LR series voltage regulator transformers is 2.0, use this factor to determine the correct size voltage transformer for your electronics/applainces. Just multiply the efficiency factor times the max power(watt) rating of your product and then purchase a transformer of atleast that size. I have just moved to the US from the UK, so I needed a transformer to power some 230V products that I brought with me. These units are very robust and heavy duty. However, on the 2 units I ordered, both assemblies holding the front breaker had snapped in transit. This bezel assembly is very weak.The unit works great, but the quality of this fitting needs to be improved.

Better than expected. Well made. The voltage meter lights up when switched on, which is neat. No audible buzz when load applied. Overall, very happy.

We live overseas in a country with 220v power, but have mostly 110v appliances. Also, the power here is pretty poor - frequent surges and extended periods of low voltage, so the combination of a transformer and a voltage regulator is very useful.We've purchased about 10 of these total between home and office needs - from 1000 to 3000 va. Despite what other reviewers have said, all have arrived in working order and been in use for between 6 and 12 months without any issues. In our experience, they arrived well packed and undamaged, despite being shipped internationally.I have opened a couple of them up, and agree that their internal layout isn't as impressive as one might hope - it would be better if some of the wires were more organized and well secured, and the control cards and other fixtures are just held in place by the case, and otherwise kind of floating in the interior.That said, they're far better assembled than what we can find locally, and they have worked well so far. I've you've got access to great german designed or EU made ones, they're probably a better bet, but if it's this or somthing imported to China and being sold off the street, then these seem to be a solid choice.
