This is a nicely-made, very compact unit. But be aware that it's not up to charging a laptop. I have a Lenovo, with a charger rated at 90w, and thought this would be a nice unit to carry in the car. It will charge the laptop if it's turned off, but with the laptop partially discharged and turned on, the unit gives up and trips off. The 90w rating of the laptop charger is (as I've now discovered) an output rating, and the input power consumption is greater, but this unit has no margin of error, and a lot of customers might reasonably think a 100w inverter would handle a 90w charger; it won't.

Cheap plastic, face broke off 2ed day and the item completely stopped working after 6 month. Yes it's very slim and compact but it's a safer bet for you go with a name brand like Belkin, Buy at your own risk, based my my experience.
