Product Description
The Sunforce 650 Watt Pure Sine Wave Inverter converts 12 Volt DC power into household AC power. Excellent for powering home appliances directly from your 12V battery, this inverter will supply stable power to run small electronic tools, air pumps, electronic doors, small motors and refrigerators that a modified sine wave inverter cannot. Pure Sine Wave inverters provide clean power with very low harmonic distortion, no static or humming noise. Safety features include high and low voltage protection, overload protection and overtemperature protection. This unit comes with an ON/OFF power switch, an LED status indicator and two 110 V AC outlets.

By blancaJim
I went thru three of these in two years. I didn't run it at anywhere near it's rated wattage. I use it to recharge my portable tool batteries. the 1st one lasted only 6 weeks, the 2nd. one lasted just over two months, the 3rd one died after just over 1 year. The heatsinks on the side are made of plastic. You don't need to be a rocket scientist to know that plastic doesn't dissipate heat, Plastic absorbs heat. That is why the first two had such a short life. the third one I removed the plastic heatsinks and made my own aluminum heatsinks and attached them to the sides on the inverter. overall, I wouldn't give 10 cents for these pieces of Chinese Junk!!!

By ed
I almost returned this inverter after a week because of some minor issues like the load gauge reading max when I only had 300 watts on it and the plastic heat sink which looks stylish but serves no other purpose. After 2 months I have grown to like this inverter though. I have part of my son's 180 gallon marine aquarium on it 24/7 for about 300 watts daytime and 150 watts at night when the lights are off. Plus I have my garage door operator on it which maxs out the inverter when the door opens or closes. It just purrs along like a champ. It's very quiet and the fan automatically speeds up with a load like when the garage door opens then it quiets down right away when back down to 300 watts. My other inverter has a loud fan that sounds like a wet vac running - not good on a 24/7 load. I'm saving that inverter for power failures or something else.If I have problems in the future I'll come back and update this but, so far, I'm pleased with it.
