I need to have a laptop in my truck. Tried many inverters, small ones, big ones, expensive, cheap - doesn't matter - even 30amp fuse burned for some reason(alternator/battery were tested and OK). So I got sick of it and bought this adapter. Works! Quiet(no fan inside needed), fit fine for my HP, well built, does not look cheap. Also has usb outlet on the side for my phone. Very happy with purchase, recommend it!
