Basically a good solid design. You may need to re-solder some wires inside. The main transforming component of this 120 -240 transformer, is built like a tank. Good old fashioned proven technology. However, occasionally, a wire(s) or fuse holder may come loose or wasn't installed properly in the first place. So go to Radio Shack and get a soldering iron, electronic solder, maybe another fuse holder, and just fix the little thing yourself, (maybe also get a volt meter with ohm check...$5.00 is all.). easy, I fixed it while eating lunch. Thing is AWESOME now! It can actually handle the power need I demand of it quite nicely!
