mine failured in two years
By BoatGuy
Mine was used maybe 10x to run a coffee pot at 850 watts. The unit failed within 30 days of warranty expiration. (2 years) It was replaced, so that's good.I wouldn't buy again honestly. I would really have to be persuaded that a true-sine wave is needed for my application BEFORE I'd get this type of inverter again. I'm willing to bet that its high amp draw (and fan noise) is to justify the true sine wave conversion....vs an inexpensive inverter. If you are in a confined space (like a camper) it is damn loud. So loud, running a TV would necessitate a very high volume setting to hear over this thing. As far as its features, its fantastic.Hope this helps.

Good, but noisy fan.
By Prepper
Works well. Fan comes on at about 150 Watts. Pretty loud if located in a small room. I have heard there is also a second stage fan in this unit, but I don't know that's a fact. Haven't used more than 250 W draw so far, so can't confirm. Gets the job done, and very reasonably priced.
