Great product needed it for elctronics in afghanistan. Like the fact that it can take both 220 and 120. Only issue is like most transformers, it is very heavy and almost ripped the box during transit.

I purchased this transformer for my three month trip to Switzerland. I have many products that I use here in the UK that I brought with me. The wonderful thing is now I can use my electronic razor, doctor's desk lamp, phone charger and my girlfriend uses her hair straighteners too.It even comes with two outlets for output in the front, which was handy.

This product lives up to its claims and it is dependable.If you are thinking about pairing it up with audio or video components, however, keep in mind that its internal power transformer vibrates. This creates an audible buzz from the unit itself. So if you value silence and do not want to be distracted from your entertainment, take this into consideration. Hence, the one-star deduction.
