Chose this charger because it goes from 50 Watts to 1875 Watts. Noticed on other reviews people were complaining about other chargers or appliances failing after one or two uses. Also noticed they had purchased a lower wattage charger and, for example, tried to run a hairdryer on it. Most hair dryers are in the 1875 Watt range. This charger worked great with a hairdryer, iPad, camera batteries, shaver for more than two weeks in Europe.
