This unit works GREAT! I keep finding more uses for it. I have sleep apnea and sometimes need power for my cpap when camping, etc. This unit does the job. It also has come into use to power radios and charge cellphone batteries. I have an SLR digital camera but I don't have a car charger for the camera's batteries. I was on a road trip and had forgotten to charge the batteries ahead of time. I remembered that I'd brought the inverter so I pulled over. plugged it into the cigerette outlet and was able to charge the camera batteries while driving to my destination. I also like to do digital sound recording out in the field and this unit comes in handy to power all of the gear. I just hook it to a car battery and suddenly all my stuff is portable. I'm not limited to depending on a power cord from a wall outlet.

Bought this to use with my Cpap and a battery when camping with no electricity. Testing at the house several times and it works great! No issues at all.

It cost a few bucks to get it installed directly to the battery, because the cigarette plug hookup will only handle 100 watts. But it has handled the item plugged into it wonderfully.
