Great for trips. Just plug it into your cig lighter and plug your device into the unit. I use it for charging phones and game consoles on the road. Great value!

I like having this item as another option for charging the various items we take with us in the car. My son recently got a laptop so he is the one who has used the charger the most and he has not had a problem with it. The fan is somewhat loud but it is more like "white noise" than a real noise. If you are good at remembering to bring your phone charger with you when you are going to be away from home then it is a good option for charging that too.

By Ken W
Seems to be a decent well built unit. My only problem to date is that the fan runs all the time. Not only is that a current draw but makes it hard to sleep in the RV.If that's not an issue for you then don't hesitate to pick this up. I will note that I plugged in a 2.3 amp item (dumb) and it blew the fuse. Easy replacement as it's accessible on the back panel. Quick swap and I was back in business.Update:Replaced the fuse and now it blows every time I plug the inverter in. Not even use it mind you, plug it in. Seriously fried I guess ?
