Dear DROK and AMAZONEven though I couldn't see the status of the fuse from the outside, I opened it up and pulled it out. It was blown. I replaced it and the unit works just fine. I truly appreciate the assistance and time you spent in working with me. You can bet I will be buying more of the unique items from your site.And to quote what I had said in a previous Amazon Marketplace product:WE HAVE ARRIVED INTO A NEW ERA OF BUSINESSThis dealer, "DROK" has bent over backwards to please me. And when it all came out, the product was perfect with a new fuse and I hope the seller and Amazon Marketplace don't create a ton of bad marks on me as a buyer.As I had said in a different product and different dealer:We are coming out of a century old phase of "sell it, even if it's broke and refuse a refund" It is quite shocking to find business y caring about the satisfaction of the customer, which of course, keeps them coming back and word of mouth and internet praise.So, in two words:"Shockingly Pleased!"Sincerely,Peppi Turco

Works as advertised. No noise on nearby AM radio. Works with 1000 w resistive load. I have not tried inductive load. Easy to wire (just cut an extension cord in half) , terminals remain exposed but could be taped or potted. Very little heat generated by controller. I am using to control a hotplate for more precise temperature control. This controller goes to full output so it, must have a full wave rectifier feeding the SCR or it may be a Triac controller. This works better than a Triac controller that I built.
