I have never heard of this product until one day, I needed a phone charger because the one I brought along with me was dead.... Because I'm a flight attendant and on the road most of the month, I know that most hotel have a lost-and-found box that is full of phone chargers. Well, the hotel clerk gave me one of this (which also turned out dead on arrival) I noticed that the tip isn't attached to the charger itself. I looked up the product on line and decided to give it a try. Now I have more than a handful of them, for my HTC EVO phone (Android, micro USB tip A97) and my Ipod Touch (A133). I also bought more than a few external battery pack that works with the tips, that means I can charge my battery during my bus ride home, or top off my nearly dead phone during my flight. This adapter works with all iGo tips and I'm amazed how the marketing department of iGo hasn't really pushed this fine product that much. The cable is far longer than a regular Ipod (or my phone) charger and man, if you are away from home a lot, you need to pack smartly, that means as little as possible, to make room for something else that one brings along. If you have a few tips (for an Android phone, and an Ipod touch), all you need is one charger....

I gave my daughter my iGo adapter for her Nintendo DS. I had been using it for my Sony camera without realizing certain features would not function without a power supply. It had a proprietary power adapter that ONLY worked with specific Cybershot cameras.Evidently the iGo AC Adapter tips are equally proprietary and had been modified in production since my last purchase. My camera's battery charger tip had two notches on the end that plugs into the AC Adapter. The new model that I purchased on Amazon has only one notch, so it doesn't work with the iTips I've already collected.After purchasing a battery charger for my Cybershot, another iGo Adapter, and another battery charger, I finally resorted to researching and ordering a Sony AC Adapter. I looked up the model number on camera's user manual to ensure I get the right cord.So it wasn't the Seller's failure in anyway, but be aware that your old tips may not be compatible with the newer iGo Adapters.

The iGO Universal Auto & Wall Power Chargers that I purchased for my Motorola Bluetooth hands-free device work perfectly. And the price I paid is the best I could find on the internet! I am one satisfied customer!
