I bought this to use my laptop in the car without being limited by my laptop's battery....it also allows me to plug in a usb and cig lighter device at the same time! Very happy.

This product is great. Comes with a corded line to run the ac adapter outside of a middle console which is great if need be and it comes with all standard connections you can expect usb, ac adapter, and outlet plug. fan for product doesn't run too loud black color will match any interior product isn't too large it can fit in a cup holder and middle console the only problem i ran into is that my phone won't charge through the outlet plug when using it not sure if there is enough wattage in the unit itself or from the ac port of my car but it does work the light comes on my phone saying it's charging but it keeps beeping on and off not sure if it's the product or not so i'm still giving it five stars because other things work in the outlet plug
