1500W inverter that doesn't even handle 1000W. WAY overrated

I installed this inverter on my boat to run a few appliances so I don't have to run the generator. I tried it on the largest power consumer, the 900W microwave. Inverter shuts down (and yes, battery bank is fully charged to almost 14V and load test perfect). This IS NOT a 1500W inverter as described! Also, the low-voltage shutdown feature kicks in at 11.4V, WAY above the 10.0V listed in the manual! This is the cheapest inverter I've ever bought (regrettably). Will not buy a Cobra again. Over-rated, misleading specs. Junk

Received as expected. Quality is high. Works as described. Have no complaints or concerns, was able to mount it where I wanted and it does the job well.
