Good Deal

I purchased one of these 7-8 years ago and the unit is still going strong. I was pleased to find that the price on amazon.com was 1/4 the price I paid a local firm back then. The second unit I received today arrived and the quality was the same as the first - well built and working to spec. I ordered a third unit. I use the supplies for HAM radio.Update 19Sept2009: I received a second unit, same high quality as the first and working to spec. The price went up from the first by a few dollars, but was still a good deal.

Works as expected but build quality is low. Expected it to be made in USA but is made in China. Bottom of unit is distorted where transformer is attached. Again, poor craftsmanship, looks like it was thrown together by someone who doesn't care.

the case on ths product was visibly bent it did not affect the fuction so no issue and not worth returning but the box was perfext so the damage was present before they boxed it. the item was not cheap like i said not a issue here because it was being installed in a hidden location but otherwise a return would have been required and they boxed it like this because there was no damage to box of packing just the metal unit which was bent as if it had been dropped.
