Did not work

Plugged it in. Light turned on showing power.. Plugged phone into USB slot. Nothing happened. Plugged laptop into the power plug.. Nothing happened... Plugged my other USB into current lighter and it charged my phone so I know the outlet works.. The thing I bought didn't do anything but light up.
