This 300 watt transformer is exactly what I needed. I can run my MacBook Pro all day long without any problems. As long as you stay within the wattage, you won't have any problems either. It comes with 2 extra fuses which came in handy because my wife plugged her 1500 watt hair dryer into it. But once I very simply replaced the fuse, good as new. I highly recommend this product. Just remember if you are traveling with it, this thing does way 6 pounds. That's a lot if you only have a 50 lbs baggage limit on your flight but if you're moving to another country for a full year like I did, it's worth it to bring it, or ship it.

This is my second 300-watt transformer from Seven Star. It works extremely well but it is heavy at 6-pounds. So if you're travelling and concerned about weight issues, you have been forewarned!

I really had no idea that across the world there are different kinds of outlets, and am happy I found something which allowed me to use the nail filer I bought from Hong Kong.
